Xiao Zhang

I received my bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China in 2014. My research is focused on the dynamics of confined multicomponent suspensions such as blood flow. Both numerical simulation and theoretical modeling approaches are used in my work to understand the physical mechanism of flow-induced segregation behavior in complex blood flow scenarios such as sickle cell disease.
